How do I listen to a podcast?

Podcasts are essentially MP3 audio files which can be easily downloaded and listened to on computers through e.g. Windows media player and devices such as iPod's or other MP3/MP4 players.

How do I download or save the files?

To listen to the Mp3 file from this web page, simply right click on the pod cast you would like to hear, click on "save target as" and save this file to your chosen location on your computer.

Once it is saved, copy the file to the MP3 player in the normal way. It can then be listened to on your MP3 player.

Historical Information about the Ards Borough

Read a little, learn a lot.

The Ards area has a rich yet understated history. Ever since its earliest inhabitants arrived some 8,000 years ago, the area has been moulded and defined by some of history's most notable groups, including Celts, Vikings, Normans and even Saint Patrick himself.

Here, we have collated articles, newspaper clippings and other literature which focus the area's different historical and modern-day highlights. From ancient churches and mighty towers to the story of Millisle's role in the Second World War, delve into the rich history of the Ards Peninsula and read a little to learn a lot. All literature is copyright to their respective owners.
