DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
The Development Committee meets on a monthly basis and is not open to the press or public.
From 7th June 2007 and following restructuring, the Development Committe now also includes the remit of the former Borough Development Committee.
Its remit is to consider:
the general economic development of the Borough
the allocation of European funding in respect of applications
all other economic development matters, tourism development, events and Exploris, the Council's aquarium in Portaferry.
