VOLUNTARY BODIES - FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Council can make a financial contribution to voluntary bodies, including charities, which provide a public service relating specifically to the Ards Borough.

This means that contributions can be made either to groups and charities based within the Borough, or to groups and charities with the condition that the contribution made is specifically used for the benefit of residents from the Borough.

There is an annual budget of £5,000 for financial assistance for voluntary bodies and funds are allocated on a first come first served basis.
