UNFIT HOUSING

If you think that the house you live in is unfit for human habitation, you should contact the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) who will arrange to have your house assessed. A dwelling could be unfit because of structural instability, excessive dampness, inadequate lighting/heating/ventilation, facilities for food preparation and cooking, suitable bathroom facilities or an effective drainage system.
