SPORTS DEVELOPMENT

Ards Borough Council works in partnership with local schools, sports clubs, governing bodies of sport and the Sports Council for Northern Ireland to promote a wide and varied Sports Development programme throughout the Ards Borough. In addition to offering individuals the opportunity to participate in sporting activities from "beginner" to international level, the programme aims to build a strong and stable quality club, coaching and administrative infrastructure.

The Sports Development Team
The Sports Development team is part of the Council's Leisure Services Department, based in the Council offices at 2 Chruch Street, Newtownards, BT23 4AP.
