New After School Activity Club For Children

There's action being taken to get kids active after school, with the start of a new 'Multi Skills Club' at Ards Leisure Centre for very young children.

Specially designed for boys and girls aged between 5 and 8, the new club is not about any particular sport, but about helping children to enjoy being active and to develop some of the basic 'FUNdamental' movement and sports skills, like agility and balance, or running and catching.

The programme begins on Thursday 8^th February and runs each Thursday for 8 weeks until 29^th March from 3pm to 4.15pm. Individual sessions cost £2.50, while booking for the entire programme cost £20. Places are limited to 30 children.
