PARKS AND OPEN SPACES

The appearance of the local environment affects and reflects the well-being of the people living there. Whether it is a town centre, local park or the street on which we live, it is important that they add to the quality of life and that they are safe and attractive places.

The Council provides a range of parks, playgrounds and open spaces for the community, providing opportunities for a variety of formal and informal leisure activities, sport, recreation and play, as well as offering space for community activities and events, travelling fun fairs and circuses.
