INFECTIOUS DISEASE CONTROL

Environmental Health Officers have a role to play in infectious disease control, and will help to investigate the source of infectious diseases and their control on order to prevent them spreading throughout the community.

Investigations can include food borne illness or other sources, such diseases of animal origin or associated with foreign travel.
