HEALTH PROMOTION AND EDUCATION

Environmental Health Officers play a role in health promotion and education, participating in campaigns like 'No Smoking Day', organising roadshows to encourage greater home safety awareness, visiting schools to promote accident prevention, supporting Noise Action Day or simply providing speakers for any interested group on various aspects of the work of environmental health.
