FLORAL DISPLAYS

Floral displays and other plantings at selected high profile locations across the Ards help to enhance the appearance of the Ards and are planted and maintained by the Council's Parks and Cemeteries Service.

Major planting schemes can be found at the following locations:

Kempstones Rd Roundabout, Newtownards
Conway Square, Newtownards
Court Square War Memorial, Newtownards
High Trees junction, Donaghadee
East Street/Moat Street, Donaghadee
Greyabbey village (at entrance from Newtownards)
Main Road, Portavogie
Main Road, Cloughey
Kircubbin

Parks and Cemeteries has also helped to raise the profile of the Borough with entries in competitions such as Ulster in Bloom and Best Kept Awards and staff are also on hand to offer advice and assistance to local communities wishing to participate.
