EXPLORIS

Exploris, the only public aquarium in Northern Ireland, is a unique facility which takes visitors on a journey to experience the wonders of the Irish Sea and its marine life. The aquarium includes a Seal Sanctuary where injured, sick or orphaned seal pups are nursed back to health for release to the wild.
Explrois is owned and managed by Ards Borough Council. It remains as one of the country's top ten visitor attractions and has achieved international recognition for its work.
