DOG FOULING

Allowing a dog to foul a public place without cleaning up the mess is an offence and staff from the Borough Inspector's Office will issue fines where they observe the offence.

As well as regular enforcement patrols to try and catch offenders, the Council issues free poop scoops, is involved in campaigns to reduce straying and therefore the likelihood of dog fouling and runs an education programme to promote responsible dog ownership.
