CONSUMER SAFETY
Protecting the public from unsafe consumer goods is a key aim of the Environmental Health Service.
Consumer safety means that anyone who supplies unsafe goods is guilty of a criminal offence - and the obligation to supply safe goods extends right down the supply chain from the manufacturer to the retailer.
