COMMERCIAL BIN COLLECTIONS

The Council also collects waste from commercial premises with agreement and at a cost.

The charges relating to the collection and disposal of commercial waste (from April 2009) are:

• 140 litre wheeled bin £2.15 + vat
• 240 litre wheeled bin £4.30 + vat
• 1100 litre wheeled bin £12.55 + vat
• Open Skip £48.50 + vat
• 240 litre blue recycling bin £0.70 + vat
• 1100 litre blue recycling bin £2.75 + vat
• 240 litre brown recycling bin £1.50 + vat

To dispose of commercial waste at one of the Council's Waste Recycling Centres, you must purchase a waste transfer note (available from Council Offices or North Road depot).

The pricing structure (effective from Monday 29 June 2009) is based on:

• the type of vehicle used to transport the waste, and
• the weight of material being disposed of.
