BINS

The Council operates an 'Alternate Weekly Collection' system (effective from Monday 2nd June 2008) which means one week your blue bin (for paper, plastic bottles, cardboard, food cans and so on) is collected and the next week your grey bin (for general household waste) is collected.

Brown bins for the recycling of 'green' kitchen and garden waste are also provided to every home on request. Brown bins are collected every two weeks.

All bins should be left at the kerbside for collection by 7.30am.

A collection calendar for grey/blue bins and a timetable for brown bin collections are available for download here.

For further information about bin collections, contact the Enviornmental Services Department, Tel: 028 9182 4024.
