ASSISTED BIN COLLECTIONS

If you feel you are unable to leave your bin to the kerbside for collection, you can apply for an 'assisted lift'. This means the Council will collect your bin from a suitable place at your home.

To qualify for an assisted bin collection, you must be unable to bring the bin to the kerbside and have no one else living with you who is able to do so.

A doctor's note must also be provided to confirm you are unable to bring your bin to the kerbside.

If you would like to make an enquiry about receiving an 'assisted lift', please contact the Environmental Services Department, Tel: 028 9182 4014/15.
