NEW ON-LINE HOME FOR ARTS IN ARDS

The arts in Ards have a new on-line home with the launch of a new web site.

Ards Arts' web site went live last week, detailing all the arts activities on offer from the arts service of Ards Borough Council, complete with a blog, latest tweets and links to the Arts Centre's existing facebook page. Visitors can also register to receive e mail updates with the latest news and events.

The launch of the new site coincides with the publication of the September to December Arts Guide, and is intended to complement the existing methods of promoting the arts, as the Council's Arts Officer, Emily Walsh, explained:

"We're delighted to be offering another method for people to access information about our arts programme, classes and festivals, and hope to see the site grow, both in terms of content and numbers of visitors interacting with us".
