DPP APPOINTS NEW VICE CHAIRMAN

Donna Hamilton, an independent member of Ards District Policing Partnership, has been appointed Vice Chairman of the body.

A member of the partnership since its establishment in 2003, Mrs Hamilton will serve as Vice Chairman for 12 months.

"I am delighted to be taking up the position of Vice Chairman and welcome the opportunity to continue my work with the PSNI and local community to ensure local policing meets local needs," said Mrs Hamilton. "I would also encourage the public to work with the PSNI to tackle ongoing problems such as anti social behaviour in Ards and to use the DPP to raise issues of concern or for help and advice."
