The three centres run over 50 classes in the Energy Programme. All classes in the Energy Programme are included in Momentum, Leisure and Energy memberships, classes may also be used on a pay as you go basis. Some classes must be booked, so please check with the centre before setting out.

Zumba classes run at Ards and Comber are not part of the Energy Programme and are open to everyone on a pay as you go basis.

Ducklings creche is available at Ards Leisure Centre for children aged 6 months to 5 years old at the following times:

Class Descriptions
Ab Blast - for those who want to concentrate on their tummy. This 45 minute class will work your abdominals to a flatter tummy.
Abs, Bums & Tums - a comprehensive all over body workout that will tone and tighten from your bum to legs to tum. Fun, effective and timeless.
Body Blitz - get whipped into shape! Hard work, sweat and fun using stretch bands, free weights and much more. Great music and all that you've got to give.
Boxing Circuits - circuits based class incorporating different boxing moves using pads and gloves.
Circuits - circuits is one of the more traditional, established group exercise formats and the classes are suitable for all levels of ability and experience. Participants move around a number of stations performing a different exercise at each one. This is a great 'all-rounder', which focuses on cardiovascular muscle conditioning, improving stamina and strength.
Core 'n' Crunch - is a general core conditioning workout involving a mixture of abdominal exercises to tone and trim the mid-section. Training on the abs, back and all other functional areas will create a firmer, toned and stronger abdominal region.
Energetics - work your heart, lungs and major muscles by aerobic exercise & toning movements. Create energy within yourself through this hi-energy heart-pumping class! Medium to high intensity, beginners will be shown alternative less intense movements.
Gently Does It - the Ideal class for the more mature person or for those beginning exercise for the first time. No bouncing or jumping with the emphasis on improving flexibility, toning the upper body, tummy & legs and working the heart and lungs just that little bit harder.
Pilates - the Pilates method represents a unique approach to exercise that develops body awareness, improving and changing the body's postural and alignment habits and increasing flexibility and ease of movement.
SalsaFusion - dance yourself fit! A fun and energetic cardio dance class with a section of body conditioning and stretch to finish.
Spinning® - combines high-cadence riding with performance visualisation in an aerobic class-like environment. Perfect for people who are looking for a more efficient and fun way to get in shape. Different fitness levels can workout together, unlike a road bike, no one is left behind. Spinning not only defines leg muscles but also arm, shoulder, abdominal and even neck muscles.
Stability Ball - energetic, fun class that helps activate the deep abdominal muscles with the use of the body ball as your body works to keep balanced. Maximises functional strength and condition of the abdominal and core muscle groups.
Step Aerobics - a cardiovascular workout which improves the thigh and buttock muscles, by using high and low impact moves.
Total Body Fitness - the fastest way to get in shape! This workout, conducted to music, uses barbells with adjustable weights. Pre-choreographed moves are performed to strong uplifting music, systematically working the whole body. Easy to follow, requiring no co-ordination and is suitable for everyone.
Water Aerobics - water supports the joints and therefore exercising in it is kind to the body but just as effective. Routines to music give the muscles, heart and lungs a good overall workout. Work gently or with more vigour to suit your needs. You don't have to be able to swim, all movement is done standing or using support.
