Built in 1796 Kiltonga Hall is a unique romantic setting for an intimate wedding ceremony.
The two hundred year old stone building has been designated as an 'approved place for marriage' which couples can book as an alternative to a traditional registry office or church. More recently the hall has also been
the venue for a Baby Naming ceremony.
The hall has been used historically as a meeting place by the local community and was recently restored to its original condition. Its natural materials and simplicity contribute to its charming character.
Situated in the quiet suburbs of Newtownards, this charming venue is set in beautiful surroundings ideal for wedding photography. Kiltonga Nature Reserve, a five-minute walk from the hall, is an area of exceptional beauty enhanced by swans and other abundant wildlife. Lakes surrounded by wonderful scenery make the Nature Reserve another choice for perfect photographs.
Due to its proximity to Belfast, Bangor and Newtownards there are a number of renowned reception venues available.
Kiltonga Hall seats up to 60 guests and may be hired for ceremonies between 10am and 4pm daily.
A CD player is available for you to play your choice of music in the hall and toilet facilities are also available.
It is the responsibility of clients to arrange their own flowers. Clients are advised to check availability and fees with the Registrar for their Marriage/Civil Partnership ceremony. The Registrar may be contacted on 028 9182 4003.
Anyone wishing to use the hall for a Baby Naming ceremony can contact the Humanist Association of Northern Ireland to conduct the naming ceremony. The ceremony is based on humanity and human values which transcend any religious beliefs. The Humanist Association of N.I. can be contacted on 028 9076 0002.
The cost to hire Kiltonga Hall is £380. The balance must be paid six months before the date of your event. For bookings made more than six months in advance a non-refundable deposit of £50 is taken at the time of booking.
