WALK

New for 2010!

The 2010 Ards Half Marathon a walk has been introduced.

The walk is a non-competitive event on a course of approximately 9.7 miles.

The walk will start and finish at Ards Leisure Centre taking a shortened route to miss out Comber town. Please refer to the map below for the walk route.

Walkers should aim to be back in Newtownards town under street lighting by 9.45pm.

The walk is a non-competitive but all walkers will receive a T-shirt and all finishers a medal.

The minimum age for walkers is 16 years on the day.

When entering please ensure you select the walk category on the online booking form or downloaded entry form. Walkers are asked to line up behind the half marathon competitors at the start.
