IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Registration
Venue: Ards Leisure Centre, William Street, Newtownards
Time: Wednesday 2^nd & Thursday 3^rd July from 5pm to 8pm in Function Room 1
Race day from 2pm to 5pm in the Sports Hall
A large route map will be on display at the centre. Mileage markers, water stations and First Aid points will be clearly marked on the map.
At registration competitors will be asked to sign that they permit any photographs taken of them by the official race photographer to be used in future promotional material such as leaflets, advertisements and website.

Race numbers
Must be collected by all competitors at registration, be pinned to the FRONT of your running vest and is non-transferable.
Participants will be sent a confirmation letter of receipt of their entry. Details of race day arrangements will be included in the letter. Competitors must produce their confirmation letter and race number to receive their pack.

Start & Finish
The race starts and finishes at Ards Leisure Centre.
Changing and showering facilities will be available at Ards Leisure Centre.

Times and placings
Will be recorded for all finishers who will receive a medal at the end of their race.
Results will be posted on this website and the Athletics Northern Ireland website: www.niathletics .org

Prize Presentation
Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners of the male and female open competition on the day. Prizes for all other categories will be posted out.

Entertainment
Local radio station U105 will be holding a roadshow on the evening, time to be confirmed. Food and refreshments will be available in the leisure centre. Special rates for swimming and the children's soft play, Whacky Whizz-ards will apply on the evening.

It is recommended that participants not currently involved in physical sporting activity should seek medical advice on their suitability to take part in this event.
